Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Diane and I went to Oceanside. We went to kayak! It is such a fun thing to do. The day was gorgeous. The weather was warm,. Being on the water was refreshing! We were in the marina. By the floating bait store. Yeah it's a dock that's a bait store). There were many, many pelicans. Also some sea gulls. They were bobbing around in the water,. Flipping on their backs,. Diving and just having fun. One of the seals emerged. Then I was worried. Would he pop up under my kayak.

Yeah they are worth it. I always check to have them! I never let my perscription lapse! I take the combo every morning!

A few days after I returned from Utah I read this Ensign article. And felt the confirming power of it's message - the family that works together gains strength as a family unit. If you don't like the game, you just visit and eat and catch up on sleep. We watched the Rose Bowl and the Sugar Bowl. The games were so-so but the time together was wonderful.
