Monday, May 4, 2009. 40 Days and 40 Nights. Well, 41 days and 41 nights. I've been quite the blogging slacker and I'm sorry. But I've had good reason! Scott's been home and we've been busy! I'll do a rundown to get everyone up to speed:. We make a quick unplanned trip to Texas. Scott goes on 5 interviews in the Dallas area. Scott gets 5 job offers in the Dallas area. We look at many, many houses in the Dallas area. We find and fall in love with a house. We make an offer on the house. We pack our house up.

Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Day 338 - No business. So I have no business being on the internet right now. Its 10:30pm and a realtor is coming in the morning and the house is a mess. My mom is downstairs working her heart out and I'm not. I'm avoiding. The good news is the upstairs, my room, Luke's room, kitchen and garage are ALL finished. Thursday, February 12, 2009. Day 326 - We won! Our table at MOPS won the decorating contest today. Paige and I brainstormed and pulled the table together. I was quite impressed with the outcome. This year the theme is "Adventures in Mothering" and all the tables are named for an attraction at a carnival. Well, the contest was for Valentine's Day and we had to incorporate our table name into the decorations. Can you guess what the name of our table is? My mom will be here in less than 72 hours!

Wednesday, March 11, 2009. Day 353 - All by myself. Don't want to be all by myself. Yes, I'm once again doing something that I'm wishing oh so much my husband was here for. To make a long story short, our house went on the market last Thursday evening. We have an offer tonight. six days later. Not what I had planned. I thought for sure Scott would be home for this part of the selling experience. And did I also mention that I'm tired? Thank goodness for a good hairdresser and great color! We are so close!

Sunday, March 22, 2009. He's finally home. On US soil. For a long, long time. We couldn't be happier! It was a long night, but the kids did awesome. I think they both got their second wind around 12:30am when we drove on base. Thankfully, the flight was right on schedule and other than the anticipation of opening the plane door once they landed, it was wonderful! Our sign in the front yard. The signs we made over the weekend to pass the time. Yes, its about 2am here. Marching into the hanger!

Friday, March 20, 2009. Day 362 - One more time. I have this thing I do. Thankfully, I've learned other military wives do the same thing so I'm not completely crazy. Colby started his second year as a Titan in his coach pitch league. He went 3 for 3 and hit the ball great each time. Jace made his tball debut as the pitcher. Yes, I realize I said "teeball" so you're thinking, "why do we need a pitcher? Lia was there cheering on her brothers. Jace getting ready to "pitch" with his windup.
