Malory and Ashlyns Blog. Posted by Drew and Malory. I thought I was going to have to miss Ashlyns first time eating carrots. Luckily, I got off work early so I didn't miss a thing! My sister Shamae came over with my two adorable nieces. They had lots of fun feeding Ashlyn. Ashlyn seemed to like the carrots just as much as the sweet potatoes. Later, since the weather was so nice, Drew and I decided to take Ashlyn and Tank for a walk around the Green Belt. We all had a lot of fun! She is very excited!

With the help of my super creative friend Becki, we put together this blog so Mal and Drew can share all their pregnancy and baby news! So here's a quick update. Malory is due on November 7 with their first baby, a girl, who will be named Ashlyn Paige. As the soon-to-be favorite aunt, I am stoked! I can't wait for this little bald beauty to be born! She will be a cutie!

Malory and Ashlyns Blog. Back on the Ranch! Posted by Drew and Malory. I decided to help my dad brand cows last Saturday. I hadn't worked on a ranch since I was sixteen! However, just like riding a bike, the basics came back real quick! I also realized some things never change. For example, goofing off and acting like a ten year old is a must (at least until you get yelled at), I am still afraid of the cows, and I feel so bad for all the baby calves when they get branded! Over all I had a fantastic day!

Tuesday was an especially hard day so when I got to the office that afternoon, my sweet husband dropped by with a beautiful vase full of daisies. The card said, "Just because it's Tuesday." We were divided into eight teams and did several different competitions throughout the day. It was lots of fun! Colton was on the red team. He had changed into different clothes by this time of the day. We were having a water relay with sponges and buckets. Paul was on the brown team and I was on the blue team (the winners! He won the sportsmanship award I think!

Friday, July 31, 2009. We spent a little over a week at Paul's parent's cabin in Idaho about a month ago. The cabin in halfway between Challis and Stanley. It is the most relaxing and peaceful place in the world! And, it's absolutely beautiful! We did lots of fun things and had a great time. The following pictures are just a sample of our amazing week! We went to the fish hatchery in Stanley. We were there during the salmon run so it was incredible! I was salivating just watching the salmon come in!

Hayden made omelets and strawberry smoothies for us for breakfast a couple of weeks ago. They were delicious! Colton moved in with us a couple of weeks ago.
