Monday, July 18, 2011. All You Need is Love. This has to by far be one of my favorite posts so far because I get to announce that my brother and his girlfriend got engaged over the weekend - which would technically now make her his fiance! I am so incredibly excited for both of them, and could not have imagined a better match for Josh. Nicki is his perfect match, and I could not be happier to be able to call her my sister very very soon - at least officially because she is already a part of my family!

Saturday, December 31, 2011. Happy New Year's everyone! Yesterday Sean took a break from his new found love of spearfishing and decided to go free diving for lobster instead. He brought back a good sized lobster as well as some scallops. I cooked them up for him and he had a lunch of fresh lobster tail and pan seared scallops. Friday, June 24, 2011. Feel the Burn Friday. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. For Warm Arugula Salad. I must say that there is nothing better than the smell of cooking bacon and onions (except maybe if there was garlic too). I followed OCCaveGirl's recipe, except my chicken was cold, so I heated it in the pan with the bacon, shallots, and walnuts. And I must say, the balsamic vinegar on top gave the whole salad a really nice flavor. Leftover's for lunch! It's more fun to cook when you have a glass of wine!
