The Hanson Hat Trick: June 2011
http://thehansonhattrick.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 29, 2011. I often write about hope amidst all the chaotic behavior we experience on a daily basis. It's not that I try to sound redundant and annoy the few who read, but rather hope always seems to be there floating about and making situations bearable. It's been a constant for me. Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending. I should be hesitant to say this (darn HOPE! Last night during bath time Anth asked me, "Momma, why did birth mommy give me to you? We were able to have a gr...

The Hanson Hat Trick: Easter 2012
http://thehansonhattrick.blogspot.com/2012/04/easter-2012.html
Saturday, April 28, 2012. We celebrated Easter this year at the Tuttle's house in Grand Rapids. It was nice to have it a day earlier so we could actually enjoy every one's company and not have to worry about celebrating quickly and then rushing home to do laundry, buy groceries and get ready for another week of work/school/Renae's house. And it wouldn't be a celebration without something crazy happening. Oh, the squirrels. Clearly little boys named Anthony just cannot resist going squirrel hunting. Welco...

The Burnham Family Blog. The happiest moments of my life have been the few which I have passed at home in the bosom of my family. Thursday, June 12, 2014. 6-Dine at Pete's Place. In St Cloud on 9th Ave, there's a cute little diner called Pete's Place. I've always wanted to go there to try it out. After all, my friend, Muggsy Lauer sings the song "Pete's Place" from time to time at jazz nights or concerts. I just HAD to see what this place is all about! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Look at those curls!

The Hanson Hat Trick: Our Neighborhood
http://thehansonhattrick.blogspot.com/2012/04/our-neighborhood.html
Saturday, April 28, 2012. I remember moving into our house when Desperate Housewives was just starting up and we were watching it every week. I remember thinking it would be fun to get to know our neighbors and have neighborly get togethers (minus the scandal, sex, murder.). Our neighborhood is fairly quiet and for the most part people/families do their own thing. After seven years of living here we know a few of our neighbors and very rarely do we ever hang out or do something together. I was the one wh...

I am lucky enough to work in a district that puts on a triathlon for staff and students EVERY YEAR. Jill Emery and Ann Bemboom do a phenomenal job of encouraging people to participate in the event, and I'm so lucky that it's so easy for me to participate in something so amazing. "A triathlon? Amazing, you say? Selfie during the run!

The Hanson Hat Trick: January 2012
http://thehansonhattrick.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 23, 2012. The lost chapters of December. Anth was very specific about what he would like Santa to bring him. So much so that he brought a page right out of the Target ad. While A didn't mind sitting on Santa's lap at all, Ash really wanted NOTHING to do with it. In school Anth had dress up day as well as bring Baby Bear to school day. We found out that our Bubsa Boo LOVES wearing a tie and would like to dress up more often. Who knew? The pirate and skeleton are two popular ones. Found by ...

Monday, April 14, 2014. 16- Ahhhhhh, a Massage. 16 on my list of 35 in 35 was getting a massage or a facial. I rarely EVER treat myself to any kind of spa-like treatment aside from the every-six-week-haircut I receive from the lovely Heidi Czech. So, I put a massage on the list because it's something easy, relaxing, and frankly, a nice treat. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My big...

http://burnhamfamilyfun.blogspot.com/2014/09/26-give-back-to-st-bens.html
The Burnham Family Blog. The happiest moments of my life have been the few which I have passed at home in the bosom of my family. Thursday, September 25, 2014. 26-Give Back to St. Ben's. 26 in my quest of 35 things to do at the age of 35. Included giving back to the St Ben's community, a place that will always be near and dear to my heart. Last year I discovered the opportunity for alumni to help move in the first year students. What a gift! And I found the day so rewarding that I wanted to do it again.
