Housewives Who Hunt: October 2005
http://housewiveswhohunt.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
I like to hunt, fish and wildcraft for herbs, fungi, berries and more. Oh and so do my all of girlfriends! This is not a blog for sissies or the squeemish at heart! Monday, October 24, 2005. Well for starters I wish there were more choices in blog templates. Maybe I'll find some different wall paper for this blog, like mounted deer heads? I like hunting, be it for animals to feed the family, or wildcrafting for mushrooms, berries, herbs and the like. Posted by Dora @ 4:35 PM. Upper Midwest, United States.

He Who Fogets History is Damned to Repeat it! And yet we still insist that we are better than those who came before us, that we are so good that there's no way we can make the same mistakes as our grandparents, parents, or ancestors. A Very Simple Kitchen: August 2006
http://simplekitchen.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
A Very Simple Kitchen. My place, where cooking food and managing a kitchen shouldn't require a PhD in rocket science. I live in the heart of the Prairie and long for the old ways. A wood cook stove, wood heat for my house. And yes even the hard work of milking my own cow and making butter from scratch. Until then the I'm trapped by side walks but quickly moving towards a simpler life. Tuesday, August 22, 2006. Posted by Dora at 5:36 PM. Upper Midwest, United States. View my complete profile.

The Rural Missourian: August 2006

Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. These are the musings, aphorisms, and reflections of a grizzle-bearded pastor and novice historian living in the wooded hills of rural Missouri or Mizzurah as some put it in these parts. Included, as I am able to mine the riches of history, are the musings of various pioneers who, through toilsome work and dogged determination, blazed the difficult paths that built our once prosperous, agrarian culture. Soli Deo Gloria! Little Dixie region, Missouri. A Proposition for You.

Truth, Goodness, and Beauty: Eleanor the Spunky Model
http://pearlsteinphoto.blogspot.com/2011/02/eleanor-spunky-model.html
Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. Monday, February 28, 2011. Eleanor the Spunky Model. I was wanting to take some portraits of the family on our Jacksonville vacation. I was using Ellie to get a feel for the light and this is what she gave me. This picture has been putting a smile on my face. :) And I love the title: Eleanor the Spunky Model. You are growing up, Eleanor! What a sweet girl! March 4, 2011 at 6:30 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Of Pigtails and Dinosaurs. Dreaming of a Yurt.
