Currey In a Hurry: January 2011
http://curreyinahurry.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Currey In a Hurry. Tuesday, January 25, 2011. After we visited Prospect point in October with Gary and Rachel, we just fell in love. We returned from that trip and booked a weekend for Maci, Seth, and I in January. The close most of the cabins in the winter except for the ones with a fire place. What could be more cozy than sitting by a nice stone fireplace on a snowy January weekend in the Adirondacks? It was so peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed! Our cozy cottage, what a perfect fireplace.

http://curreyinahurry.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Currey In a Hurry. Sunday, April 24, 2011. Here comes Peter Cottontail. Later in the morning, Maci and I watched "Easter Parade" which was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I wanted to dance with Fred Astaire so badly! Then we had a wonderful brunch with Seth's family, and our friends the Dales. It was a wonderfully relaxing Easter. That is some haul! Peter Cottontail caught in action. Peter's assistant Paula Cottontail. Making a banana split with her new ice cream set. Opening her basket from GG.

http://curreyinahurry.blogspot.com/2011/10/snow-in-october.html
Currey In a Hurry. Sunday, October 30, 2011. Not since 1987 do I remember so much snow in October. How do I remember that when I am so young (ha! We had about 4-5 inches and it was heavy wet snow which is perfect for making snowmen. Maci's papa made one of the larger snowmen I have ever seen. They had a blast playing outside and thank goodness for Zappos because I wasn't ready with snow boots this early in the season. Can I have a woot woot for free overnight shipping? Currey In a Hurry: A High Peak of Marriage
http://curreyinahurry.blogspot.com/2011/10/high-peak-of-marriage.html
Currey In a Hurry. Sunday, October 16, 2011. A High Peak of Marriage. Seth and I decided to celebrate our 11th anniversary (how did that happen! By hiking our first of the 46 high peaks in the Adirondacks. We decided to hike Cascade Mountain which is one of the "easiest" and it is very close to Lake Placid where we love to walk around. The rain held off (it started when we got to the car), but the trail was still very muddy. The views were spectacular, but boy was it windy up top! View my complete profile.

http://curreyinahurry.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Currey In a Hurry. Sunday, September 18, 2011. A nip in the air. But we wanted to get some Galas as well so we trudged our deeper in the orchard. We filled our bags to the brim, and then some, and headed back to GG's house (Seth's mom) for some cider donuts. It was the perfect fall day and reminds of why we love to live in NY, great fall weather and even better apples. Reaching in for the first apple. Reaching the high ones. Checking out the stink bug that was on the apple. Sunday, September 4, 2011.

Currey In a Hurry: Pick your own
http://curreyinahurry.blogspot.com/2010/07/pick-your-own.html
Currey In a Hurry. Friday, July 9, 2010. My favorite time of summer is upon us, berry picking season. A few weeks ago, I went out on my own and picked strawberries to make jam. This time, I wanted to bring Maci. We went to Bowman Orchards. Graham and Maci on the trolley taking us to the berry patch. Graham watching the trolley. Maci picking "only the purple" blueberries. Graham and Rachel picking blueberries. All the berries (and rocks) that we picked. Enjoying a hard earned cider donut. Hair Of the Dog.
