Mission is to provide emergency funds and resources to the families of officers in southwest Ohio who are critically injured or killed in the line of duty. An officer had been killed in the line of duty, and his family had no means of producing the funds needed to cover their expenses – travel, lodging, and the added expense of missing work. Sensing a duty to care for their own, the chiefs of police began a 100 club, pooling their own money together to support the family. To learn more about The Shield.
