January 19, 2017. Posted at 02:45 PM. January 11, 2017. Sam had his tonsils and adenoids removed on January 9th. He has always snored and been a restless sleeper and seemed worn out during the day so we opted for him to have the surgery. After the surgery, the ENT told us his tonsils were big, but his adenoids were blocking about 90% of his nasopharynx, so hopefully this will make a big difference in his breathing and sleep! And SUNSET is 3:12 pm and SUNRISE is not until 9:25 am (Yep, that’s less than 6 hours of daylight! Average snowfall in the winters is 11 inches in the Helsinki region and 27 inches in the northern Lapland area — where winter lasts seven months of the year!
