Thoughts from a quiet mind. June 20, 2015. For some reason I signed up for a college level astronomy class this summer. Although I am once again stressed about maintaining a good grade in the class (we are graded on participation… I can’t) our professor is so passionate about his occupation that I can’t help but become engrossed during classes. Of course, once I return home I lose most of that interest and have no motivation to study. I think our school system has become very depressing.

I am that girl who is terrified of class presentations, even more so of piano recitals. In one of my classes we reviewed coping skills, which are ways to make difficult times in life easier to deal with (if the term wasn’t obvious). Our teacher advised us to stay in this circle of coping whenever we needed to but not to stay here forever.
