Smith party of 5. Tuesday, January 20, 2009. So it has been awhile since my last entry and that is because the action never stops here! Thankfully Emalee is doing GREAT! Her breathing is almost back to "normal" and other then a daily breathing treatment she is off all meds. She is starting to gain weight and is the roundest baby I have ever seen! Smith party of 5. Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Way to Go Emalee. Wow That is all I can say! The last day has been quite eventful to say the least! Thank you all for your prayers-they are working! Emalee is COMPLETELY off of oxygen and breathing great! It was a slow but steady process that she mastered like a champ. She now needs to regulate her own body temp, eat and digest her food, poop, and pee.not a lot, right? She is still in the intensive care nursery and we haven’t been given a set timefra...

Smith party of 5. Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Pre-K Here he comes! Izak had his first day of "real" school on Monday. He is officially in Pre-Kindergarten at St. Vincent's. He had a great first day and was so happy to see some of his friends from Mother's day out and his previous teacher. We are so excited to see how much he will learn this year. Smith party of 5. Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Pre-K Here he comes! Izak had his first day of "real" school on Monday. He is officially in Pre-Kindergarten at St. Vincent's. He had a great first day and was so happy to see some of his friends from Mother's day out and his previous teacher. We are so excited to see how much he will learn this year. Smith party of 5. Sunday, November 23, 2008. Izak goes to the dentist. Tuesday, November 18, 2008. Emalee will be two months old on Friday (also Kevin's 28th birthday! She is now eating formula mixed with rice cereal- bring on the fat rolls! As of last Friday she weighed 8lbs 8oz and is stunning. Smith party of 5. Sunday, April 5, 2009. More egg hunt pictures! The boys had a great time checking out the Easter Bunny's ride! Our church at its first Easter Egg hunt this year. All of the Smith cousins (except Derrick) joined in on the fun! The bunny arrived on a fire truck and then stayed around long enough for pictures. Izak thought it was so funny to touch his tail. Everyone had a good time for sure! His first girlfriend (when he is 18) will probably run after seeing these pictures!

Smith party of 5. Sunday, October 12, 2008. Emalee loves taking baths! Notice our little "One Eye Wonder".she will open one eye, look around, and then either close that eye and go back to sleep OR if she is interested in what she sees she will open both eyes! This morning, VERY early, Uncle Chris and Char came over for breakfast. After a great meal, Emalee, Jaxen, and Char decided it was snuggle time.which turned into nap time! Smith party of 5. Sunday, August 31, 2008. Emalee is on the way! Emalee is trying to join our family earlier then expected! On Thurs. I started having contractions and after a day in the hospital, they still wont' stop! Currently I am on a three day bedrest (thank you Vickie and Heather for making this possible! Izak did awesome at his first soccer game! For his age, score is not kept, yet out of the 5 goals scored for his team, he made THREE of them! I'm a soccer mom. Its official, I am now a soccer mom!
