The Sill of the World: Week in Seven Words #257
http://thesilloftheworld.blogspot.com/2015/07/week-in-seven-words-257.html
The Sill of the World. It lifted off from a chair-back,. Beating a smooth course for the right window. And clearing the sill of the world. Richard Wilbur, "The Writer". Thursday, July 9, 2015. Week in Seven Words #257. She talks like someone who hasn't had anyone hear her for a long time. The grand hall is dark and full of music that rakes the air apart. Sickly green light slides down the walls and swirls around the ceiling. She is lying to others to give herself space to heal. Week in seven words. I kee...

The Sill of the World. It lifted off from a chair-back,. Beating a smooth course for the right window. And clearing the sill of the world. Richard Wilbur, "The Writer". I write a Week in Seven Words. Feature that captures thoughts, impressions and memories from the past week and centers each one on a different word. I think of this as my word picture diary. An example of one week with great memories is Week in Seven Words #32. The more obscure words I've used on this blog include the following.

The Sill of the World. It lifted off from a chair-back,. Beating a smooth course for the right window. And clearing the sill of the world. Richard Wilbur, "The Writer". Sunday, July 19, 2015. Week in Seven Words #259. A cockroach scales the chrome and neon walls of the ice cream parlor like a sci-fi hero. A storm whips the houses, cloaks the streetlights. I don't know. I haven't done it yet. What makes for a good friend? She presses a lemon to her ear, pauses, puts it down. Picks another one to liste...

The Other Side of the Ocean: 08/06/15
http://ninacamic.blogspot.com/2015_08_06_archive.html
The Other Side of the Ocean. Thursday, August 06, 2015. Another day that has many agendas and seemingly too few hours for them. Let's start with a leisurely breakfast. Then various sundry appointments, quickly attended to and voila. I gain two hours in midday. Ed is home today and so he is there to loads wood chips into the cart and I throw them on the enlarged lily bed. It's like old times: we work in tandem in the heat of the day, we make progress. Why do I love the lilies so? Time for me to go home.

Jacey started at MBT when she was 6 years old, just a couple of weeks before auditions for Celebrate His Birth, A Nativity Ballet. I will admit, it was a new concept to me.
