Thursday, March 1, 2012. I am the worst blogger. so sorry! Lots going on the last few months! I have been unemployed since December 13th (yuck) so I have been swamped with a job search with little time devoted to blogging! I am happy to announce I finally took a new job on Tuesday this week! Monday, January 31, 2011. Hello again, friends! Wow, after a year long sabbatical, WE ARE BACK! And I have so much to share! We have been blessed beyond measure this past year with a sweet new baby, Bennett Doak, and a healthy growing BIG 3 year old! There is just no feasable way for me to share everything from the last year so here's a quck recap in bullet form. Here goes. January: Had a fabulous family vacay to Cabo. Learned we were expecting baby number two! April: Celebrated our big boy turning 3!

Friday, May 22, 2009. Saying goodbye to an old friend. Is always hard to do! But sadly, that time has come. A week ago today we said goodbye to Quinn's dear old friend, the Pacie. He put on his brave face as we made the trip to the post office to mail them off to Elmo on Sesame Street. He handed the postman his package, we paid, and haven't looked back once! Friday, April 16, 2010. Emerging, Emergent - Whatever. So, what happened to simply preaching the Word of God and allowing people to be attracted to that? What happened to simply living like Christ (loving unconditionally) and allowing Him to draw people unto Himself? Here's the thing - I've recently seen an overall lack of "awe" (for lack of a better word) for God's Word among His children. What am I doing to cause this? It grieves my soul! Friday, January 8, 2010. I deleted my facebook. Well actually I deactivated it - it was the only option i saw. i couldn't really find how to delete it altogether. He's created me to be the person He wants me to be. As I slowly began to desire what other people had, it caused me to slowly doubt who I was and that is NOT a good place to be!
