Snacks and the City. Treats. All day. Every day. A Truly Special Treat at Bouchon Bakery. February 14, 2012. The ever-amazing Thomas Keller is the man behind Bouchon Bakery, which has several locations around the country and is probably most famous for its TKO’s, or homemade “oreos”. The site. Every Time I Try To Leave + Possibly The Best Donut Ever – Snacks and the City
https://leandrasnacks.wordpress.com/2012/09/10/every-time-i-try-to-leave-possibly-the-best-donut-ever
Snacks and the City. Treats. All day. Every day. Every Time I Try To Leave Possibly The Best Donut Ever. September 10, 2012. September 10, 2012. I’ve given every excuse in the book. Terrible camera. Terrible computer. No time. Already work for a food blog and don’t want to pretend to be a food blogger when I don’t have the skillz. WordPress is for chumps. Not worth it to keep posting every 7 months and then stop. Getting a lot of press. So, uh, long story short we nixed the bike ride because let’s ...

Our little corner of New York City. Regardless of my motivations, the awesomeness of the idea still drew me, but the more I prayed (or even thought) about it, I knew for whatever reason, God’s plan was for me to stay put and actually, not have a job at all. I wanted an identity with a little more edge. Being conscious of how I spend my time and making sure it is not wasted. I think. View all posts by yumbs →. Our little corner of New York City. St John →. We spent the past two weekends out of town in Cold Spring (upstate in the Hudson Valley) and Seattle, respectively. Here are some pics:. A really lovely little town accessible by train from New York City. It was great for a nice weekend getaway. There’s hiking trails within walking distance from the train station and town. I think we’d really love to come back again. The view from Cold Spring (on the shores of the Hudson). View all posts by yumbs →. Enter yo...

Our little corner of New York City. Summer Visitors →. Well if you haven’t heard, Marcy arrived into the world on an early Tuesday morning! Since the birth, things have progressed really well. Marcy and I have (I think) gradually learned to feed, which I had heard could be quite trying. So, we are just so in awe and truly thankful for so many blessings! Tonight, this is the song that I began to hum:. Come, Thou Fount of every blessing,. Tune my heart to sing Thy grace;. Streams of mercy, never ceasing,.

Our little corner of New York City. November Trips →. It’s been quite awhile. I kind of took an inadvertent break (good and bad) from thinking very much over the summer. I am currently working on an update regarding my life, for lack of better words. But in the meantime, I thought I would post something I wrote a few weeks ago. This year, our church fellowship is reading through the Bible in one year using this plan. Bad; but ever since, I’ve really been convicted that God was using the passage in ...

Summer Visitors | yumbs & family
https://yumbs.wordpress.com/2011/08/20/summer-visitors
Our little corner of New York City. My life now →. This summer we finally found a little patch of nature here in New York City – right outside our window sill. Noah resurrected our old lawn (he had rolled it up when the roots ran out of room and stopped growing and placed it with our now-defunct compost) in a window planter and ever since has been dumping random seeds into it from the produce we cook. One month later, Birdie made a home here…. 8230; and laid two eggs! Another egg was laid the next day).
