Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. Monday, June 30, 2014. I just celebrated my 30. Birthday. As luck would have it, this is also the 30th post on Marie in Stitches! I really hadn’t thought much about it until, like, the day before (Oh my gosh! It's the last day of my 20s! My life is so full right now with taking care of Moonpie, spending time with my husband, going back to work and balancing out the everyday things like housework and cooking, and I'm really, really thankful for all of this. Sunday, June 22, ...

Marie in Stitches: Sewing Project for Toddler: Fabric Alphabet
http://marieinstitches.blogspot.com/2014/11/sewing-project-for-toddler-fabric.html
Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Sewing Project for Toddler: Fabric Alphabet. I saw this project on All About Learning Press. Although I modified it a bit. I used their letter templates, but since I didn't know where to find quilt batting, I just backed the fabric with felt, and I'm pretty happy with the result. So, first I printed the letters and cut them out. Honestly, this took a few days. Why is this project taking forever? I think I might try to finish today, though, beca...

The politics of life. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. November 23, 2013. And being shocked when I saw the real new President, a weathered Texan who looked older than his 55 years. Now my sons share a similar universal memory of September 11, 2001. One was also in kindergarten. It makes me wonder if each generation is doomed to share at least one horrific moment. http://intlgreenminimalist.blogspot.com/2014/06/honoring-memories-through-possessions.html
Sunday, June 1, 2014. Honoring Memories Through Possessions. I was recently inspired by one of my Your Simple Home. We discussed how these items made her smile, brought her joy and many positive family memories. By getting rid of the excess styff, these treasured items could be displayed and honored in a way that they could be enjoyed by her and her family on a daily basis. I just wanted t...

International Green Minimalist: March 2015
http://intlgreenminimalist.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 22, 2015. Hello everyone. I've been gone for 7 months because frankly, I had not been living a very minimalist lifestyle. I had taken on too much and said 'yes' to too many things. Clutter had even begun to creep its way back into my car and my home. People kept asking when I would write another post, and I simply had nothing to share. Reduced 3 drawers of files into one. Shredded/recycled what was not needed. Scanned and filed away digitally what I thought we should keep. The Simple White ...
