Silas Rosemary Tess: July 2016
http://silasrosemarytess.blogspot.com/2016_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 31, 2016. We took our kids to Santa Cruz last year. And they never stopped talking about it. They were thrilled to be back. Silas gained two inches, which put him over the 50-inch ride limitation for the Giant Dipper - his first roller coaster. I felt compelled to take a selfie, despite prominent signage warning us to keep phones in pockets. (For good reason - the coaster really knocks you around.). After the ride I told Silas I thought he'd seemed a little scared. He said, "VERY scared!

Silas Rosemary Tess: First Homework
http://silasrosemarytess.blogspot.com/2016/09/first-homework.html
Wednesday, September 7, 2016. This is Rosemary tackling her first homework assignment. She tore through the entire week's packet in about half an hour, and then said, "I wish they gave me more. I want more! A decidedly different outlook than that of her brother. I went back and checked the blog post from Silas' first homework. Damned if I hadn't written, "As for Rosemary, she can barely wait to have homework of her own.". Almost exactly four years later, Rosemary gets her wish. Morning at the Park.

Silas Rosemary Tess: The Preschool Blues
http://silasrosemarytess.blogspot.com/2016/10/the-preschool-blues.html
Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Tess started out strong in preschool. Early on, I tried to put a dress on her, and she demanded "my red shirt with words on it.". Unsure what she meant, I asked what the words said. It says, Tess is going to preschool! It says: "Building Blocks Preschool Program."). Lately, however, Tess has become nervous about going to preschool. She claims to be "too sleepy" to attend, and around 8:00 am she crawls back into her bed and pretends to fall asleep. Silas Jude Keithley: Ring Bearer
http://silaskeithley.blogspot.com/2009/09/ring-bearer.html
Silas was born on October 21, 2007, at 11:45 am He weighed 7 lbs., 3 oz., and measured 20 1/2 inches. Saturday, September 19, 2009. We spent last weekend in Philadelphia at Kate and David's. It was Silas's fifth wedding, and over the course of those five weddings he has gone from being a source of untimely noise to being designated as the ring-bearer. Silas also refused to face the camera for the family portrait (he wanted to see the water), despite several attempts. Plan A had been for Silas to be the l...

Silas Jude Keithley: Birth Day

Silas was born on October 21, 2007, at 11:45 am He weighed 7 lbs., 3 oz., and measured 20 1/2 inches. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. It's Silas's birthday tomorrow - he will be two years old. But as all mothers know, it will also be the anniversary of Meredith's awe-inspiring hard work. Two years ago, late on a Sunday morning, Meredith brought Silas into this world after a long night at St. Luke's. It's also amazing to watch how quickly Meredith can fall asleep on the floor. And well done Mum and Dad!
