http://lesliessmallandsimplethings.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Small and Simple Things. Sunday, November 27, 2011. Funny things my kids say. Here is another installment of funny things my kids say:. Simon - I didn't spend all my money, right? He got birthday money recently). Me - No you have $5. Simon - I'm in the black! Who knew his 5-year old mind would grasp the concept of red/black financial descriptors that we explained to Eli a couple of days earlier when he asked about Black Friday! D - Dad, both mine and the great one that Joe is! E - Education and Eli.

Small and Simple Things. Sunday, May 27, 2012. Its time for another installment of "Funny things my kids say.". At dinner this evening it went something like this. Simon: What does rad mean? Mommy: It means cool. Simon: What does ish mean? Eli: its a suffix. Daddy: its something you add to a word when you want to say something is like something else.if Alice does something like Simon, we might say she is Simonish. Simon: What does radish mean? Small and Simple Things: April 2013
http://lesliessmallandsimplethings.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Small and Simple Things. Sunday, April 21, 2013. I am so done with cold and ice and snow! We had spring break and took a trip to the aquarium in Denver. It was fun and the kids really enjoyed it. Alice was quite enamored by the mermaids. Yes they had mermaids at the aquarium, we even saw them swimming in the tanks with the fish. Love the fish on the right! I just love jellyfish! We also went swimming during spring break- at an indoor pool of course! I will post pics when it is finished! What Fills My Days.

Small and Simple Things: September 2013
http://lesliessmallandsimplethings.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Small and Simple Things. Sunday, September 15, 2013. Well I sure am behind. We finished out summer and school started (way too early in my opinion.) Eli is in 5th grade at Baker, Simon started 1st grade, and even Alice is now in preschool! Then on 5th, Joe and I went to the NFL season opener, Broncos vs. Ravens! I was so excited, I felt like I had won the lottery, and in a sense we had! So we got to go. It rained on us some, but it was still a blast-something I would do again, but not for every game.

http://lesliessmallandsimplethings.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Small and Simple Things. Wednesday, September 26, 2012. We had a couple of birthdays at our house in September. Alice turned 3 on September 1st! I can't believe she is 3! She is growing up and getting so big. She is lots of fun and learning to do lots of things. Granmama and Auntie had a lovely tea party for her. (Joe and I missed it because we were in Hawaii). She thought presents were great! She is such a princess! Ahh, Hawaii, I miss you already. Wednesday, September 12, 2012. He was pretty shocked!

Small and Simple Things: January 2012
http://lesliessmallandsimplethings.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Small and Simple Things. Sunday, January 15, 2012. The Lincoln Tunnel ate our bus.aka Fabulous NYC. While we were visiting my parents, they so kindly agreed to watch our kids, and also my brother's son, so Joe and I and my brother Josh and his wife Erin could all take a trip to NYC. We left Wednesday morning (Dec 27) and were back Thursday night (Dec 28), so it wasn't very long, but it was fun! We took the Megabus. Very affordable way to get there and fairly comfortable). We stayed a the Hotel Verite.

Small and Simple Things: March 2013
http://lesliessmallandsimplethings.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Small and Simple Things. Sunday, March 3, 2013. Yep, I have a cast on my foot. Here are pictures of my decorated cast. I told Joe he had to make it look nice, instead of boring white. I think it's fun. Doesn't make my foot feel better, but is maybe a bit distracting. We had a few days of snow, so Eli and the neighbor Kendra built this snowman. And this is what happens when you stand too close to the mixer. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A stay-at-home mom finding plenty of things to keep me busy.

Small and Simple Things. Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Peyton is my Orange Crush. Peyton Manning is a Bronco! Go Manning and the Broncos! Congratulations to Eli and his brain bowl team. They competed a couple of Saturdays ago and they got 2nd Place! They won every round they played in, except the last one, which came down to the very last question! It was very exciting! They were Columbine A team, but could ha. Ve been called the Marler team since half of it was Marlers: Ayden, Jayson, and Eli!

Small and Simple Things. Sunday, June 30, 2013. Summer is in swing. We have been keeping busy this summer! The last day of the camp they had a water fight, the kids loved it. Eli was on team Spain, and they won the "World Cup" match, yay! We took a trip to Glenwood Springs to visit Uncle Chris. Of course we had to hike to Hanging Lake. The kids were real troopers, even Alice did the whole hike! Eli and Rylan on the Ferris Wheel. The kids also really enjoyed swimming in the pool at the hotel. And then thi...
