Sunday, April 15, 2012. My Family's Home and Property Damaged. Well, last night my family had a little excitement and not the good kind of excitement. They live in central Kansas (so far away from me! Here is the story from my point of view and perhaps others or more will come later. His response was "Got us". Well, I at least knew he was alive but beyond that I had no idea. Thankfully my mom called a few minutes later. That is still all I know for now. I was able to talk to my Grandma today. She...My ba...

Tales from the Crib: September 2012

September 26, 2012. Posted by ♥ ♥ ♥. September 25, 2012. Hard to believe, I know. How did that happen? Elizabeth has grown so fast. It's crazy to think of her as a big girl now. Although, since she did miss the kindergarten cut off by a few days, I still like to think I have ONE more year of my "preschooler." So even though she's five, I still have one more year before she's "officially" a big girl in my book. At least, that's what I keep telling myself. If you're wondering, Elizabeth helped me bake "som...

Tales from the Crib: May 2013

May 27, 2013. I can't believe I haven't blogged since last October! It is amazing to think of all the things that have happened between then and now. Of greatest note, we had our baby! Benjamin Miles was born March 21 weighing 9lbs 4oz and 21 inches long. He is now 2 months old and just the sweetest, happiest baby around. We are SO blessed. And thankful for everyone's prayers. Posted by ♥ ♥ ♥. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). But I am. And I love every little bit about my blog! I'm not really sure who follows...

Tales from the Crib: August 2012
http://ourtalesfromthecrib.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
August 08, 2012. Away from the blog. Sorry for my absence from the blog. Let me count the ways:. Not easy. And I'll be honest, it's sometimes not easy to come home to family who you haven't been around in awhile. it kinda takes time to "adjust" to personalities and the way people talk and interact with one another, hard to be around people 24/7 without a break. I think that's true of living with anyone, right? Did we get so many shoes? Our "tools" have also never been truly organized since we moved in...

Tales from the Crib: December 2011
http://ourtalesfromthecrib.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
December 27, 2011. We hope you all had a fantastic Christmas! I know we sure did! Although, it wasn't easy because I ended up catching a nasty cold (possibly flu) early in the week- fortunately no tummy issues, but fevers, aches, chills, sore throat, headache, and lots of congestion. Still, I was determined to get everything done on my list and to have a great Christmas. And I have to say, we did just that! I figured that if even HE knew that's what she really. I think I overdid it too soon. When they fi...

School was cancelled yesterday, so I got to spend a lovely day, well most of the day, at home with my hubby, finishing projects in our house. YAY! I want to say I wouldn't have laughed but, I laughed just reading it so, sorry! I am sure Danny would have laughed for sure! January 29, 2009 at 1:17 PM. January 29, 2009 at 1:17 PM.

A little about me. This week the baby is the size of a mango! I can now officially say I have felt the baby. I’m sure I have been for weeks now, but I can now tell when it’s the baby and when it’s. Something else.🙂 It’s a pretty cool feeling! Fall is my favorite time of the year! I’m loving the hoodies, hats, knitting, fires and fall foods. Tom has been making some great soups lately. Today is going to be some sort of mexican chicken soup and I’m stoked to try it! We get to go back to Wichita in 3 weeks!

A little about me. Wow, it’s been…. 8230;two and a half months since I last posted. I’d apologize, but I have had a lot going on. I’m not sure how the regular bloggers keep up with it. I’ll keep it brief because I know what you really want to see are the pictures below.🙂. We survived.🙂 Plus, someone still checked on us throughout the night. I have to note that I had an amazing birth team. I had Karli, the doula, my two midwives and the apprentice, an apprentice from the birth center, Tom an...This basi...
