Saturday, September 13, 2008. Today was a balmy 88 degrees, but felt great by the ocean. We packed up early this morning for a few hours at the beach. By 11 am, the kids were both fast friends with few other beach babies. We jumped in the waves, built this cool sand turtle. And searched for secret treasures in the renourishment sand. I don't have pictures of our finds, but we have a few cool shells and 2 shark teeth! Jacob was really excited about those (of course, so was I ;). Dorks making fun of dorks.

Thursday, August 28, 2008. We knew him well. Yesterday morning Jacob learned a tough life lesson. Our poor little Sunny passed away overnight and we unfortunately found him in the filter. It was not a discussion I was prepared to have at 7:00 am, but nonetheless, Sunny is in heaven now. After a quick trip to the pet store, Jacob seems to be dealing with his grief well. And we welcomed two new fish to the tank this afternoon. Wednesday, August 27, 2008. For reals. I can't believe it. If just for a moment.

Tuesday, November 18, 2008. I just don't understand. All the little Slapniks. For our usually quiet Tuesday, we decided to venture to Grandma and Pop pop's for a playdate with Jessica, who is staying with them for a few days. Tuesday, November 4, 2008. We spent Saturday in Columbia for the USC game, but before we headed to Williams-Brice we stopped by to meet a new friend, Liam Nickerson. I purchased the shade of this mascara designed for blue eyes. Its lengthening and thickening properties were just. Because the pigment is more shimmery than dark it really didn’t define my lashes. I only really noticed the “brightening” aspect of this product when natural light shown on my lashes. All in all an adequate product but nothing too exciting.

I will share all the fun sites and stores after the party. I think I want to add it to my design company to do creative party planning or invitations.
