The Eating Executive: June 2010
http://theeatingexecutive.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
On Monday, June 28, 2010 in Acworth. I try to eat out only during the week, but I can't help sampling some home town favs as well. A place I have been frequenting for quite some time is a local Mexican chain here in the Georgia area called La Parrilla. It's amazing how many Mexican restaurants there are all over the city. It speaks volumes to our want for the flavors south of the border. By no means am I an expert on what. Mexican food is supposed to be, but I. Next we ordered the Chicken Fajitas which h...

The Eating Executive: Dallas: Mia Tex Mex
http://theeatingexecutive.blogspot.com/2012/02/dallas-mia-tex-mex.html
Dallas: Mia Tex Mex. On Saturday, February 11, 2012 in brisket. Was here for a conference and my colleague from the TX area suggested we goto to Mia's for dinner. This is a Dallas institution made famous by a big change in the Dallas Cowboys coaching staff. It marked the end of the Landry years with jimmy Johnson and jerry jones dining here before Landry was let go the next day. This place was so good we came back for lunch the next day. Highly recommend it of you are around the Dallas area! Curry night ...

Milwaukee: Moxies Southern Comfort. On Friday, May 18, 2012 in Milwaukee. I was back at hq meeting with our USA team. We had a lot o fun and looking to have a good team dinner. Our marketing manager who is a foodie in the area suggested Moxies. Even living in Atlanta I never really have grown an appetite for southern food. Too rich, to much. Overall a wonderful place that I am looking forward to coming back to. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I hope you enjoy my experiences and maybe even get to try ...

The Eating Executive: Bangor: Captain Nicks
http://theeatingexecutive.blogspot.com/2011/12/bangor-captain-nicks.html
On Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in Bangor. For those more adventurous here are the instructions to crack your own meat. The verdict, hmmm I have had better on Portland but maybe I didn't order the right dish here. I was a little underwhelmed at the amount d lobster that came with my meal. Should have been mounding above the bowl, it looks like the were a little skimpy on the main attraction. Have to try somewhere else, problem is they are not open very late for dinner! See what happens tomorrow, stand by.

The Eating Executive: February 2010
http://theeatingexecutive.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
The New Eater in Town. On Thursday, February 04, 2010 in Kennesaw. Since my husband, The Eating Executive, does more executive things lately and less in the way of eating - or at least less blogging about eating, I've decided to hijack this blog. I met a girlfriend and her sister tonight a few miles from home at a tapas bar but I don't really have much in the way of positive remarks. In Kennesaw, GA and they didn't exceed my expectations. At all. In any way. Just space it out, dude! And the wings were pr...

The Eating Executive: Munich: La Barraca
http://theeatingexecutive.blogspot.com/2012/02/munich-la-barraca.html
On Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in Italian. I am very expressive for my distaste for German food. It's bland, looks funky and consists typically of fallic looking pieces of meat aka sausages. My dear German colleagues are aware of my feelings here and demonstrate their hospitality by making sure they take me out to Munich's best eateries. I highly recommend this place if you are in the Munich area. Hip, innovative and delicious. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). New York: The Food Hall.

The Eating Executive: Munich: Goa
http://theeatingexecutive.blogspot.com/2012/02/munich-goa.html
On Sunday, February 26, 2012 in Indian. Plain and simple, I have turned into my dad. In Germany I don't crave Wiener schnitzel, or sauerkraut, nope instead I seek out the best Indian food in the city. Stopped by Goa for lunch and had a veg thali or platter of 5 dishes served with rice and naan. Wow, that was fantastic! I highly recommend this place, it was packed at lunch and no buffet, everything is cooked to order. Have to give it up for my Indian friends in Munich, great job! New York: The Food Hall.

The Eating Executive: Tarrytown NY: Caravela
http://theeatingexecutive.blogspot.com/2012/02/tarry-town-ny-caravela.html
On Thursday, February 16, 2012 in Brazilian. Where the heck is Tarrytown! Well it is upstate NY in the prominent Westchester county. Nice little town. Here over night an asked the valet guy for a good place still open. He suggested a Brazilian restaurant called Caravela. I went there and was a little nervous as I was the only person in there. Understandable since it was so late. Quite the memorable dining experience , would not have expected to get such an international flare in a little town. Gallery: F...
