First, Jesus is Alive, which means we also have eternal life-what a gift! Second, my family all came to my house to celebrate. 7 additional people quickly fill up my house, but it was wonderful to have everyone together (and I do love hosting). Third, the weather was Gorgeous, with a capital G! And the Chipmunks: the Squeakquel. I will definitely save the Penzey's.

Last week was insanely busy with parent/teacher conferences, but the sweet reward at the end of 14 hour days was having Friday off. Since Julie is still on maternity leave, she came up with the three youngens and we hung out for the day. It was a gorgeous fall day and we didn't waste it! Was she looking at the same animals we saw? I think Parker just enjoyed the day out and about.
