Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Avery started swim lessons last week. It amazes me how well she is doing in only a week. She gets more and more comfortable in the water after each lesson. A couple weekends ago we went to Bear Lake with our good friends the Gold's. We had a blast. The girls loved playing at the beach and swimming in the lake. Avery was just a little worried about the fishies sucking on her toes :) Madison (our cautious child) rode on the tube behind the wave runner! Me, Brooke and the kids.

Saturday, December 3, 2011. This Thanksgiving we gathered in Idaho at my brother's house for family, fun, and FOOD. My SIL was the best hostess ever. The kids had tons of fun playing with cousins and the adults had a great time catching up with each other. My mom and dad came from Texas. My dad showed up the first morning in this oh so lovely turkey hat. He had turkey drumstick headbands for all the kids. Here he is on Thanksgiving night leading us in the singing of the Robinson Carols. She is so sweet!

Saturday, April 7, 2012. Hiking Mt. Beacon. Mike and I hiked to the top of Mt. Beacon this morning. It was more strenuous than I thought it would be. Nice enough, but I doubt I'll be returning. We saw the remnants of the old pulley that raised and lowered the trolley up and down the mountain,. And some very beautiful views of Beacon and Newburgh.
