I looked up at Noah who had his eyes rolled up towards his eye lids. And then he dropped his head in his hands and looked somewhat aghast. My first thought? The Von Brughan Family. Saturday, July 7, 2012. I happened upon today in a rather ordinary sort of way. But it is different. It has to be. And it certainly should be remembered. Because a year ago today - my dad died. There will be no big event to celebrate his life today - my family are busy with their commitments and life. But his place is still there, in my happy memories, and I am happy to find him there. His laughter, his hanky flicking, his hugs and his sleeping on the couch through our gatherings.

The Von Brughan Family. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. He still has my heart. We're coming up to a sort of anniversary in Feb, on the 14th believe it or not. And my heart still beats all fast when he walks in the room (even if sometimes I have thrown stuff at him - ok that was when my heart was mad, so lots of bad beats were pumping then).I get gooseys at his touch and my smile is right by my eyes when he looks at me.
