We played a promotional slot, before the regular jam session at Whighams Jazz Club (Edinburgh) on Sunday night - we had a great time and the audience gave us such a warm reception. Very nice indeed. This sort of learning work is something that has become central to Brass Jaw's sphere of activity. Improvisation and ear work is central to our approach, but should there be an overhaul of the way music is taught in our schools' education system?
