Working it out, one day at a time! AFTER A FEW OF THE USUAL SUNDAY EVENING HYMNS, THE CHURCH’S PASTOR SLOWLY STOOD UP, WALKED OVER TO THE PULPIT AND, BEFORE HE GAVE HIS SERMON FOR THE EVENING, HE BRIEFLY INTRODUCED A GUEST MINISTER WHO WAS IN THE SERVICE THAT EVENING. WITH THAT, AN ELDERLY MAN STEPPED UP TO THE PULPIT AND BEGAN TO SPEAK. THE OLD MAN HESITATED FOR A MOMENT, MAKING EYE CONTACT WITH TWO TEENAGERS WHO WERE, FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE THE SERVICE BEGAN, LOOKING SOMEWHAT INTERESTED IN HIS STORY.

Working it out, one day at a time! About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. Have you lost the edge? Have you lost that sensitivity to the voice of God? Hearing with the physical ears, but not understanding in the heart; seeing with the physical eyes, but not perceiving what God is doing? Jesus said that happens when the heart becomes dull. When someone loses that edge spiritually, it results is an insensitivity to the voice of God.

A Glance into our daily life. Monday, June 4, 2012. Last Day as 3. June 4, my labor started slow. It was a Monday, husband was off and I was working from home. As the day went on, we were more sure this was 'it'. Husband wanted some last pictures of us, as our little family before #2 joined. The three of us that Monday:).
