Say Yes to the Dress! Well not quite yet.this year we did a totally different version of Black Friday Shopping - it was White Friday Shopping! I will say it was totally strange to be shopping for wedding dresses because it felt like playing dress up but just knowing that in 280 short days it will be for real! I had an amazing posse - my mom, Mindy, Aunt Judy, Laura, and Curt's mom, Cathy was able to make it from Bloomington! I was so grateful to have them all with me on the dress hunt!

It's not too often that I display my domestic side but today I was able to be domestic to the extreme by tackling my first Thanksgiving dinner! Glad it was among friends because I did have a few woopsies.(leaving the giblets in the turkey.I even searched on youtube on how to find them and i just couldn't! Despite the minor slip up the turkey looked and tasted great! We dined with great friends who brought amazing dishes as well! Here is a shot of the turkey! If anyone wants to recipe swap, I'm game!

What a whirlwind weekend! We had so much fun this weekend, but it went way too fast! We looked at two fabulous rehearsal dinner locations- Euphoria and Harry and Izzy's. They are both so great- I think it could be impossible to choose! I know that we will be happy with either one that we end up with so we may have to play heads or tails!
