ICantPayMyFines: Whose job is it to sit around and speculate this stuff?
http://icantpaymyfines.blogspot.com/2011/09/whose-job-is-it-to-sit-around-and.html
Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Whose job is it to sit around and speculate this stuff? Patron: You know the 30 pieces of silver Judas was paid to betray Jesus? How much is that in today's money? Not only did Google provide our librarian with a plethora of sites that answered that question, but it finished her question for her as she was asking it! The answer might be $950.or possibly $5,000. You need to define, "piece.". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). You Have to Write a Paper About What?

http://icantpaymyfines.blogspot.com/2011/09/i-think-you-might-have-bigger-problems.html
Saturday, September 24, 2011. I think you might have bigger problems that you realize. Patron: What kind of foods have a lot of fiber? Librarian: Pretty much everything has a small amount, but some have a lot more than others. Mostly plant based foods. Patron: So butter has fiber in it? Librarian: Um. No. Patron: What about cheese and meatballs? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). People whose blogs keep me mildly sane during the day. You Have to Write a Paper About What? View my complete profile.

Sunday, July 10, 2011. No wonder there's so much crime out there. People have a really hard time understand the difference between legal and illegal! Patron: You got a Green Lantern Dvd? Librarian: No, that's still in theaters. Patron: Not even a bootleg copy? Librarian: Sir, those are illegal. Patron: Okay, I tell you what. I get a bootleg copy and I make a bunch of copies and I give them to the library! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). People whose blogs keep me mildly sane during the day.

I imagine Michelangelo was thinking, planning, visualizing, dreaming up and rejecting ideas, preparing himself to create. He really was working! Here are some ideas for getting and staying motivated. You’ll have to figure out what works for you, but hopefully one or more of these suggestions will help! Set a reasonable goal. You need to set a goal you can actually achieve. And if you real...

DJ's thoughts: You don't have to agree with me....
http://djsthoughts-dj.blogspot.com/2015/07/you-dont-have-to-agree-with-me.html
Thursday, July 30, 2015. You don't have to agree with me. But can't you do so thoughtfully and respectfully? I'm disturbed by the poorly reasoned and hateful way people "discuss" issues these days. Here's an opinion piece. I wrote about the problem, published yesterday in our local paper, the Northeast Suburban Life. (Go to Page 7.) What do you think? Can we disagree civilly? DJ's thoughts: March 2015
http://djsthoughts-dj.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 20, 2015. What a Great Day! I recently visited All Saints School, Kenwood, Ohio, where I had breakfast with the teachers, gave three presentations, shared a pizza lunch with accelerated readers, autographed my books, and talked to lots of wonderful kids, teachers, parents, etc. I really enjoyed my visit! There's a very caring environment there, but I can tell the kids are challenged, too. How great is that? Thanks to everyone at All Saints for making it such a lovely day! Links to this post.
