Thoughts and Excerpts from the Daily Life of Alice. Monday, April 16, 2012. Going down the stairs this time.the trail is 7.5 miles long and goes over two mountains with a total of 2,200 feet elevation gain and loss. Starting up hill again after passing Muir Woods. And down again on the softest redwood forest floor ever. We stopped at this bridge to take off our jackets. At this point the men put on their jackets and waved goodbye as they headed back up the trail we came on. Thanks for the date Susan!

Early labor after breakfast.waiting for things to pick up a bit more. Yana is here taking fetal heart tones to make sure Henry was doing ok. Yana reading and Griselda knitting in the dining room. It was so comforting knowing there were there when I needed them. He is still doing well.just checking again. :). A great labor position.

Lunch break for movers: tacos from Mi Pueblo down the street.delicious! Mona has been a huge source or ideas, encouragement and straight elbow grease! She got so much done! Mary came and took all the kids out so that we could move.they were pretty happy about it I think:). Are we actually moving in here? Impromptu Photo Shoot at Ikea.

In theory, it would have also been Asia's first day, but the powers-that-be changed the cut off date by a month and so now she will have another year home with me.
