We thoroughly enjoy this change and try to get outside as much as we can. All "friendly" with the pony. The following weekend i enjoyed myself at the navratri celebrations.Oh it was so much fun dancing with all my dear friends some of whom i met after several months.It was a treat to watch the crowd all dressed up in the traditional finery. Sunday, January 15, 2012. The first indian festival is already knocking on my door. Am i ready to bring it in ? Makar Sankranti is all about creating warmth to slowly recover from harsh winter that passed by. Its the time to enjoy the last of the chilli evenings before the days slowly get longer. I remember aai also made gulpoli and bajri bhakri. All out of the world! And with no calories to watch you could have it till your stomach's full and your heart's contented. Tilgul ( Sesame and Jaggery Squares).

I am no expert to give advice. But yes I have collected a lot from family,friends and various blogs. So am sharing some tips here. This is still a work in progress and I will keep updating this page as and when time permits. If you have some tips of your own let me know about it. Leave a comment and I will add it to the list. 2 To thicken chutneys like cilantro-mint or tomato chutney try substituting peanuts for shredded carrots. The chutney will be more tasty and nutritious. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Spiced Pistachio and Cranberry Muffins. Now that I have a bigger kitchen I have all the more motivation to cook and bake. And am doing just that, specially when i need a break from the seemingly endless unpacking. One morning I somehow got. Tired of my oatmeal and blueberry breakfast and declared we needed a change. And so I tried making muffins the first time ever. Spiced Cranberry and Pistachio Muffins. 2 C all-purpose flour. 1 tsp baking powder. 1 C dried cranberries.
