Grandma Kris: October 2011
http://grandmakrispowell.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Megan and Brandon took Rich and I on a trail ride the other day. The scenery was beautiful as we looked out over the valley up past Green Canyon. I hadn't been on a horse since I was a kid, so I was a bit nervous, but they gave me the old kids horse and we bonded quickly! Rich was riding like a pro in no time! Thanks Megan and Brandon for the fun time! Monday, October 3, 2011. Rich at the bar of the old saloon! Me preaching a "hell and damnation" sermon in the old church!

Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Rich and I like to go exploring new places. This past weekend we camped at Kilgore and hiked across the Continental Divide into Montana to a beautiful little lake called Blair Lake. The wildflowers were so thick it took our breath away! A week ago we went up to Cave Falls. Such a beautiful set of falls. We are so lucky to live so close to so many beautiful areas! Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Friday, July 2, 2010. Grandma Kris: November 2011
http://grandmakrispowell.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 1, 2011. And I do mean horrors! Halloween isn't my favorite holiday of the year, but we seemed to celebrate it for over a week this year! If it wasn't for all the cute grandkids and their costumes and a chance for family to get together, I would totally boycott the entire holiday! It started when I dropped in over a week ago to Zac's while they were carving their darling pumpkins. What creativity from them and especially their parents! Bring it on again next year! Zac's darling kids....

Grandma Kris: September 2011
http://grandmakrispowell.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 8, 2011. We just got back from a fun trip to Tucson to visit Jason and Judy and family. It was hot - in the high 90's and low 100's, so we spent a lot of time in their wonderful pool! So did a tarantella! I want a pool in Idaho. minus the tarantella! The beautiful sunset over their pool and palm. Typical Cactus around Tucson. We went for a picnic one day up in the mountains. One evening it was cloudy and cool enough to have a barbecue in the backyard. Love these cute boys! The smile t...

Grandma Kris: August 2012
http://grandmakrispowell.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 28, 2012. After a busy summer with lots of family and action, Rich and I spent a quiet couple of days camping at our favorite camp spot. We were the only ones in the entire area (except for a sheep herder who happened to be camped right across the creek from where we were - which we didn't realize until after. We'd set up camp. He wasn't there much, however and was a friendly chap so we didn't mind.). If it hadn't been so smokey in the valley we could have seen clear to China I bet! The k...

Grandma Kris: April 2010
http://grandmakrispowell.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 14, 2010. We escaped the blizzards of April in Idaho to the sunshine of San Diego for a quick weekend visit to Erika's and Jim's beautiful home. We had a blast at Sea World and the San Diego Zoo and lots of fun playing games and just being together. And we certainly ate plenty too! We woke up back in Idaho to one of the worst blizzards of the year and wished we were still in sunny California! The Moss' beautiful home. Princess Sidny descending the grand stairway! Love the Palm Trees!
