Thursday, September 23, 2010. Too Busy to Think. Not a good thing when most of one's time is spent in a classroom, or supposed to be writing a paper, or creating a 25-source APA style reference page that's due . ahem,. Life feels like a big, noisy, over-crowded, sweaty, stinky high school party with body parts touching that aren't supposed to, with too much consumption of not-so-awesome substances, and lots of lame, offensive jokes and over-confident attendees. Almost fun, but not really at all. Today i ...

Thursday, October 13, 2011. Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that,. And living alone won’t either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt,. Or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the. Tell yourself you tasted as many as you could.

Adventures in Raising Three Boys. Stories about Brady, Luke and Caleb. Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Later that day, I was bragging on Luke to Daddy. Reminding Luke about the event earlier in the morning, I said to him, "Luke, what do you do if our house is on fire." He piped up, "You go outside." To which I responded,"Yes, that's right, good job." Turns out he wasn't finished, as he then added "And when you're outside, you start a fire! Go There, Then Over There. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Adventures in Raising Three Boys. Stories about Brady, Luke and Caleb. Thursday, November 26, 2009. Things I'm Thankful for:. 1 The upbeat attitude of a 3 year old who sits down to our sad little Thanksgiving lunch of applesauce and animal crackers and exclaims "We're having a party." It made me smile. I think he's just about over his bug. 2 The immunizations earlier this week that made Luke run a high fever and gave him a full body rash because they protect him from illnesses that could be much worse.

Adventures in Raising Three Boys. Stories about Brady, Luke and Caleb. Wednesday, August 29, 2012. There's a Bat in the Garage. Listening to the sounds the other day of what we think may be a squirrel living in our attic reminded me of another wildlife encounter we had about 4 years ago in our old house. Ryan came home one day and said "There's a bat in our garage." I give him a look that says "Are you crazy? Combined with "When is the last time you ate? Combined with "When is the last time you ate?

Adventures in Raising Three Boys: April 2011
http://okieatheart.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Adventures in Raising Three Boys. Stories about Brady, Luke and Caleb. Sunday, April 3, 2011. Going through some pictures to print out and put in albums, I was reminded of how Brady went through a phase about a year ago where he was facinated with fixing Luke's hair. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictues of the infamous hairspray incident (who knew that hairspray would do such a great job of defining baby curls? Or that it would take 3 rounds of shampoo to get out? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
