Friday, March 7, 2008. It may have been storming inside, but it was storming outside as well. The first storm that came through two days ago, decided to take out the fence that keeps Cotie. Wednesday, May 14, 2008. I will be taking more pictures of Cotie for Y'all to eval again. I just have to get them done, then posted. Thanks everyone! Zelda Chokes, AGAIN. I had been pulling Zelda in before anyone else so she could "take her time" and not feel rushed and putting her in her own enclosed area. A lot of good That did. First time she choked, it was on hay alone. Dislodged that, but evidently left her throat irritated. Second time, she choked on pelleted grain. Such fun! Driften Chub aka Tink.

Saturday, April 5, 2008. They are Legal.well almost. Dusty's" official name is: Driften Up Dust. Cow Horse Prospect. I would direct Dusty towards anything cow horse related. She is one I wouldn't hesitate to take to the show ring. She's not pushy, she's easy going, not trying to be "king of the hill", she loves attention and tries very hard to please. Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Life as of late hasn't slowed down much. If anything it's gotten busier. Now normally, I'm a fairly lazy person. Friday, March 21, 2008. It seems there's a Botulism outbreak in our area. Carol from the tack store sent me an email saying that there's been some horses that have died from this. From what the Merck Manual states, it's a horrible way for any animal to go. Merck Vet Manual - Botulism. Everyone be careful and check it! Wednesday, March 19, 2008. I felt bad for her, I know her frustration. The anger at whomever had the horse previously to allow the animal to get in such a state. This was taken 8/19/2007.
