Stitchy: July 2014
http://x-stitchgirl.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Stitching my way through life, one 'x' at a time. Wednesday, 2 July 2014. I finally got all the supplies I needed for The Witching Hour this past weekend, including a new Q-Snap. Since this one is smaller than the Hermit and I really don't like having to mess with the fabric too much, I decided it was better to get a smaller Q-Snap, so it was recommended to me to use the 11x11 square design. And so I did. Just for fun, I figured out how many stitches this baby has - 74, 328. Yikesl. My World Of Stitching.

Stitchy: April 2014
http://x-stitchgirl.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Stitching my way through life, one 'x' at a time. Monday, 7 April 2014. Nope, I haven't fallen off the face of the earth (if anyone was wondering). Still here and still cross stitching, though not as often as I'd like. Having kids makes it kind of difficult. But I'm back to work now and hoping that there will be a little bit more of an opportunity to stitch in the evenings after everyone is in bed. Labels: counted cross stitch. Heaven and Earth Designs. Stitchy: December 2014
http://x-stitchgirl.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Stitching my way through life, one 'x' at a time. Wednesday, 17 December 2014. Progress on the Hermit. I've been working away on the Hermit. She's a bitch I tell ya! It is still quite daunting to me this task I have embarked upon. About a month ago I showed it to a friend of mine and she just looked at me like I was crazy. I laughed at her. It is. Crazy but I love it. Brilliant, I tell you. This this is amazing! It was so worth the $3 I spent on it! Labels: big ass project. Heaven and Earth Designs.

Stitchy: January 2015
http://x-stitchgirl.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Stitching my way through life, one 'x' at a time. Tuesday, 27 January 2015. I decided to put The Hermit away for a little while and get back to work on The Witching Hour. I forgot how much greys and blacks there are in WH. It's been moving pretty quickly as it's fairly easy to stitch blocks of one color at a time as opposed to having to switch thread every few stitches. The former can become monotonous and boring but the latter is just plain annoying. See all that black? Heaven and Earth Designs. Heaven ...

Stitching my way through life, one 'x' at a time. Sunday, 9 March 2014. An Update on the Birth Record. It's been a long time since I last posted. I am still on maternity leave but that is quickly coming to an end. I go back to work in a few short weeks, April 1st. Having said that, this past week I was able to get some quality stitching time while the older two kids were visiting my mom. I have been working on the baby birth record. I'd like to finish it before his first birthday (in September).

Stitchy: February 2015
http://x-stitchgirl.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Stitching my way through life, one 'x' at a time. Tuesday, 17 February 2015. Stitching in the winter really is the best. There's no better excuse to stitch when it's -30°C outside. I started page 2 of The Witching Hour in early January and finished it last night. This mini HAED really is a lot of fun to stitch. I do miss the Hermit a little but have decided to stick with this one for another month or two and will get started on page 3 tonight. As always, thanks for stopping by! Heaven and Earth Designs.
