Tuesday, April 7, 2015. April- Lovely Year of Finishes. Never mind the dog investigating). But I'm finishing it! I finally got the courage up to quilt it. I had a specific design in mind I wanted, and so I decided I better do it myself. And so far, I LOVE it. And my daughter loves it too. I still have quite a bit of quilting to do to finish this top, and that's my goal for the month! Finish quilting this quilt and start the binding, so my daughter can finally have her quilt. Saturday, February 14, 2015. About a week ago, I went through the abyss where I keep all my fabric and sewing/stitching supplies. I can't call it a room, or even a corner. It's kind of a wall, with some shelves and a table that just collects things on it. I don't even sew in that area! I take my sewing machine upstairs and sew at the kitchen table. Friday, March 6, 2015. Finish Goal for March. I have done awesome with finishing my UFO's this year. So far I've finished my Sunday Bag. My Mystery Quilt from 2013, and two quilt tops. It's been awesome! And I've got two quilts off to my 'quilter'- also known as one of my sisters. But I am becoming quite more proficient at free-motion quilting on my machine, so I anticipate doing my own quilting much more often. Anyway, while perusing blogs recently I came across a link-up for finishing projects!
