http://stockettnotes.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
A life of controlled chaos can only be fueled by Moments of Peace. Tuesday, October 12, 2010. I'm not sure how to begin or even write this post. I probably will have to save it and work on it at multiple times, due to the contemplation that comes with writing it. This past weekend, my husband, my best friend, my love,.went to far lengths to help me feel loved and cherished. Many of you helped. Thank you. We met him out at Barnes and Noble for some much needed sitting/coffee/book reading. After I suppress...

Life in the fast Layne: August 2013
http://rollinwiththelaynes.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 29, 2013. Tyler competed in a sprint triathlon the second week in August in Emmett. We had a blast watching him, and although he was exhausted at the end, he wants to do another one next year. Before the race, Nikki was giving him some advice on where his swim would take place and trying to help ease his nerves (see the very middle of the picture, behind the bush). Tyler's fans (except me since I was behind the camera):. Swimming. He is the one not wearing the wetsuit. Gabe playing with ...

Sunday, July 7, 2013. Now to back up . moving in to our house. We had a great group of friends and family give up half of their Saturday to help us move. Then Alicia, Eric and Emma came to help unpack, clean, and enjoy a bit of time with us. We broke in the firepit with some smores the first night. Trenton really enjoyed his first smore! The munchkins pretending to be going to bed. Yah right! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Now to back up . moving in to our house.

Moments of Peace: stick a fork in me-
http://stockettnotes.blogspot.com/2011/11/stick-fork-in-me.html
A life of controlled chaos can only be fueled by Moments of Peace. Monday, November 28, 2011. Stick a fork in me-. Multiple good days in a row- means a storm is eventually coming. No storm. Just a normal rough day, I suppose. Every kid is trying me. No one wants to play together nicely. Everyone seems to have some sort of talking back to a simple request or command. Ohhh do I know that feeling- I had that day yesterday :( Time to pour yourself a big ol glass of wine! November 29, 2011 at 8:39 PM.

Moments of Peace: Christmas Break
http://stockettnotes.blogspot.com/2012/01/christmas-break.html
A life of controlled chaos can only be fueled by Moments of Peace. Thursday, January 5, 2012. Its impact- is more than I can put into words. The kids LOVE it. Libby wakes up asking to play on the "Trampaleena". They can all play together. They can get out all their energy. They are caged in. Need I say more? It's amazing to look out the window and see their laughing faces. Simply amazing. Thanks Grandma! 4) More individualized time? They got new food for the kitchen (Thanks Grandma Linda! And had fun pla...

Whew My ears just throb thinking about it)and THAT'S why they are currently outdoor toys. So you might think this was pre-game footage? Jer is rockin too with over 25 pounds!

http://stockettnotes.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
A life of controlled chaos can only be fueled by Moments of Peace. Saturday, February 25, 2012. You can't tell in the pic and I can't get the video to work, but the disco ball works over the cake- so fun! In the Stockett household he is officially ready to 1)start making his own lunches for school 2) help with the dishes 3) get a higher allowance and add a new chore. We played Limbo, Freeze Dance, had a Dance off, and did pizza and cake. I'm not sure what I like best about this pic. Ian- almost as ta...

MCILROY FAMILY: January 2009
http://mcilroyfamily.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
The adventures of darin, shannon, bailey and chloe. Monday, January 12. Pocahontas and the train. One of Bailey's favorite things to do lately is to make her toys "talk" to each other. We are amazed (and entertained) at some of the things she comes up with at only 23 months old! Here's a conversation that happened tonight between a tiny Pocahontas figureine and a Thomas Tank engine. Pocahontas: "I'm riding on you, train! Oops, I fell off! Thomas Train: "Are you okay? Would you like me to hold your hands?
