Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Sara meets her big sisters. Kate, Emma and Jane were so excited to meet their new little sister - they had a chance to hold her and even help give her a bath. We are so excited to have baby Sara here and our family feels complete! On December 15th @ 12:19 our little Sara Grace arrived! She weighed in at 7 lbs 13 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long. Wednesday, March 25, 2009. Catching up . . . Sorry for all the posts at one time, but I'm finally trying to get caught up on the blog. I'm posting some of the things we've been up to the in the last couple of months - it's been crazy with moving, a new puppy, birthdays, sick kids, etc. but we are all doing great! Thursday, July 31, 2008. Grandma Brenda comes to visit. It was great to have Grandma Brenda come stay for a week at the end of June. We love it when she comes to visit and we definately kept her busy while she was here! One of the highlights of her visit was a trip up to Leavenworth - one of our favorite spots! We had a great time walking through town, playing in the hat shop and even taking a carriage ride. It was a great day! Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Goodbye School - Hello Summer! More to follow soon!

One of my problems with blogging is that everytime I get around to it, I feel compelled to "catch up" on all the things that have happened since my last post . . . which in my case is always FOREVER ago! The idea of it is completely overwhelming and reminds me how far behind I am in every aspect of my life with four little girls - I simply turn off the computer and walk away. . . Asymp; 1 Comment. Ashley Jane was born with a sick heart. She had to be intubated shortly after birth and was on a ventilator for a week. It was such a relief when she could finally breathe on her own! Keep their children safe and nurture them. Give them every opportunity possible. We had a meeting with some other doctors and decided that to get the best picture of what was going on we needed to get Ashley up and moving around. She had been in a hospital bed for 3 months!
