She improved so much during the course of the week. The second day they lined up the girls at the diving board and encouraged them to jump in. They all chickened out and said no. Stan, Jenny, Miriam, Eliza and Dallin. Monday, July 20, 2015. Trip to Utah - Lindon. We made our annual pilgrimage to Utah. The two-day trip went rather well, no major catastrophes and we were all mostly sane upon arrival. For the first part of the week we stayed with Nana and Papa. The girls enjoyed bedtime stories with Papa. While there we made a quick visit to my Grandma Stradling. We also visited with our friends, the Johnsons. Stan enjoyed a reunion with his two best friends, Kevin and Derek.

And the results of this attempt to figure out how to garden well. There was over a pound of carrots. The peppers have also produced about a pound so far. Becca thinks the taste is off a bit. We are wondering if despite of the size if they hadn't completely matured yet. Then we checked the potatoes. Live and learn I guess. Becca and the kids all say they are yummy.

Another activity we did a lot during the summer when I was a kid was go to the local amusement park, Silver Dollar City (or as my dad fondly calls it "STEAL your dollar city). While it may not have as cool of attractions as Disney World (although it does have some really good roller coasters), it definitely has the best food, hands down.
