Sari Webb: Enchanted by Words: WriterBelle
http://sariwebb.blogspot.com/p/writerbelle.html
My dream is to write. Luckily this is a dream I can control. My dream within a dream is to one day publish something I've written. Only a small part of this is within my control. That is, if I write a lot, and write well, and keep writing, and keep getting better, then one day, if I'm lucky, someone out there in the publishing world might like my words. And maybe they'll want to publish them so other people can like them too. And here is my muse (AKA gratuitous fluffball picture):. Holly Lisle - Writer.

Sari Webb: Enchanted by Words: Why do you write?
http://sariwebb.blogspot.com/2012/06/why-do-you-write.html
Saturday, June 2, 2012. Why do you write? Quick question for you today, writer friends:. Why do you write? I'm writing an article for a start-up magazine my brother is involved with. He's asked me to write about writing, and more specifically (in his words):. Why do you do it? Where is the magic? Is it the science of the plot? Is it falling for a character? Is it being able to create a world? Write something that might inspire a potential writer to try their hand. June 3, 2012 at 1:38 AM. I know that sou...

It’s been a while since I chronicled my reads here at The Literary Shack. And the itch to update you all on my progress has finally turned into an urge to put my fingers on the keyboard. Talking about typing reminds of this beautiful post I read recently on Londoner’s Musings on The Delight of Handwriting. The first one to get whim-picked was Vintage Stuff. Hastily on m...

Friday, July 29, 2011. Flattery Will Get You Everywhere. You see that little blurb in the "About Me" section? A writer struggling to find her self-confidence? Since then, I've beta'd for quite a few projects and am now being referred to other writers. Do you know what a good feeling that is? I'm glowing over here. In fact, I've turned into a nerd and saved all my emails that pump up my writing ego with quotes like:. You're my favorite beta reader ever! I'm thrilled to have found you.". That would just br...
