I happen to really like photography, so I've been taking it as a course alongside drawing. I feel like they inform each other, one being very objective with the other being more subjective. Good for training the eye. Each photo is 8 x 10 inches, and mildly Photoshop'd for color correction and contrast correction. I'm pretty happy with them. New Post, Old Product.

That portrays an American sailor kissing a young woman in a white dress on V-J Day. This piece was inspired by such a spontaneous display of the human spirit; in a time of much needed morale. Tuesday, February 15, 2011. I wanted to do some patterns in my latest illustration. And I found a lot of inspiration from henna tattoos. Had to play around with the perspective a bit. I took so many pictures to see which angle would suit this design best. I settled on this one. Here was a rough sketch to see what the character would look like.
