The Great Orme Tramway. Has been delighting visitors since it opened on July 31st 1902. An engineering marvel of its age, it's still the only cable-hauled tramway still operating on British public roads. At the Halfway Station exhibition, discover the fascinating funicular tramway - then enjoy the spectacular ride to the top. Visit the Great Orme Tramway web site. Was built in 1969 and is still the longest of its type still in existence in the UK. It was completely overhauled in 2006.
