Dessert that got completely polished off-they are my favorite! 1 cup butter (room temperature). 1 1/2 cups sugar. 1 tsp almond extract. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 3 1/4 cups flour. The dough will seem sticky. Wrap it in one big ball with plastic wrap and place it in the fridge for a least 3-4 hours. Friday Darin was off early so we headed to the lake and kayaked with our friends! The boys highlights of this trip was Darin towing Parley in one of the kayaks, as well as rowing by himself (with Darin in the kayak). My highlight was getting back out on the kayaks after a year of not being on them! Also, there is something so therapeutic about being out on the water!

This is the first time we have had a baby away from family so I was not sure how things would work out for the baby blessing, but I was so overwhelmed with love and support and having so much family there for Crew's baby blessing!
