Saturday, December 7, 2013. Where Does the Time Go? It's been close to 2 months since I last wrote anything! Where does time go? I have a new daugher in law! Zach and Alyssa were married November 8 and had a beautiful Fall/Country wedding. It was a perfect day and evening! They returned from their honeymoon in Mexico and are all settled. She is a preschool teacher so now there are 2 Mrs. Maddens in our district! Her school will be joining our school next year which is under construction of an addition!

Thursday, January 2, 2014. Happy New Year from our family to yours! Made it through the Christmas season and all Christmas is now tucked away in the basement! Winter/Snowmen/Snowflakes are now adorning my house! I'll take some pics later! Tomorrow I head back to school! I've had the best break! My 1st grade kiddos will show up on Monday so I have lots to do tomorrow to get ready for them! Wishing all of you a very Happy 2014! I'm definitely starting my "Back on Track" eating and exercising on Monday!

Tuesday, March 26, 2013. E had a special wedding to go to. On this March Spring day! Shall I say: "Supposed to be Spring but ended up Winter Blizzard" Day! We made it to the wedding and reception 40 minutes away. Decided to leave a little early to head home and this is what we drove in. I'm really really ready for Spring to show it's pretty face! Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Tripp Rodney Shaver is here! We are just so excited and all smiles! He arrived on Monday, March 25, at 10:42 am and weighed 7.67 and was 19 1/2 inches long. He came a little earlier than planned due to low amniotic fluids but was just perfect! I need not say more! He is darling, sweet, innocent, precious, delicate and.
