The Sweetwater Cabin is located at the end of an old logging trail, over 1-mile behind a locked gate that is shared only by Federal Forest Rangers. Although your passenger car may be able to navigate the trail during most of the year, in the case of inclement weather, an ably and gently driven sport utility vehicle with higher ground clearance is the preferred mode of transportation.

The Sweetwater Cabin is a truly unique, wilderness property that's been in our family's care for three generations. As the only private property for miles in both directions along the south side of the Pere Marquette river, the cabin has offered our family, friends, church and school groups the opportunity to experience the river and woods in comfort from the cabin, never more than steps away from the unspoiled wilderness.
