Outside of downtown Houston, an Australian artist painted the trunks of a grove of trees with special blue paint. The paint symbolizes the destruction of the rain forests - the blue paint will fade aways , just as the rain forests are fading away. We took the kids and Carson to experience the blue forest. Our niece, Carlee, is home from college for the summer and she was looking for a job. I was looking for someone to hang out with William and Micah three days a week. Life with Lanie, Katie, and Will. Monthly Archives: February 2012. Will, go to sleep! February 27, 2012. Still here. Just been in the trenches with all kinds of craziness. My perfectly-sleeping-too-good-to-be-true baby turned into a cannot-sleep -for-anything-for-more-than-2-minutes-at a-time baby. It is just one non-stop party for this kiddo for the last 3 to 4 months. And then he got sick, and then we all got sick. And no one has slept and it has been crazy! Come on, It really is a good time!

It was like groundhog’s day around here for 5 straight weeks.). Thought I would throw some before and after pics out there. We still have lots to do to update the kitchen (paint walls, redo floors, light fixtures,etc) and need to finish replacing the glass in the cabinet doors…. DURING: (ugh, I can’t even look). Wednesday, October 26, 2011. It's finally happening.a new house! WELCOME to our NEW house ADVENTURE! Back of the house.big cover porch. Front entrance.will be 8 ft double doors. Pad ready to go! View from the back porch. Loving the dirt pile the dozers left. The cows didn't care we were there. EVERY boy loves a dirt pile. After MONTHS of waiting, we have finally gotten started on our new house! We poured concrete on October 1st and it has come along very quickly since then. My BABY turned TWO!
