Alpha Omega Epsilon History. Alpha Omega Epsilon (A.O.E.) is a professional sorority for women in engineering and technical sciences. The sorority was founded on November 13, 1983 by 27 women engineering students at Marquette University. Currently, Alpha Omega Epsilon has 43 chapters across the United States and Canada.
