The Tales of Thomas and Henry. Sunday, January 29, 2012. Even though Henry wasn't feeling the best at his party, he was still a great trooper. We had good friends and family here for the celebration. He didn't really understand the whole cupcake thing, but he explored it a little bit. Thomas was a good helper and made sure that all of Henry's presents were opened and in record time. :). Henry is so close to walking! He crawls everywhere and walks along the walls and furniture. He is such a happy boy!

The Tales of Thomas and Henry. Monday, August 6, 2012. A few pictures from Thomas's 4th birthday party. We had a great day! A great cake from Hy-Vee. Thomas told the bakery lady that he would like an Iron Man cake and she was happy to oblige. He was pretty excited, when we picked it up. His inaugural ride on the bike. He did a great job! (I still need to get photos from my mama! Set up a high chair, a pack-n-play, and a baby seat. Hung curtains and painted my old changing table. Finished all of my prepared childbirth classes in addition to breastfeeding class, newborn care class, and car seat safety class. Had my last meeting with our doula before baby comes.

She rode the bus, enjoyed 2 recesses, got a pony book in library and came running off the bus with a smile! But wait the smile quickly turned to tears as should told me about the blisters her shoes had created. Lesson learned - don't wear new shoes for the first time without socks on first day if Kdg.

Charlie and Jessica's Family Blog. Thursday, January 31, 2013. A trip to the eye doctor. . . I took Lydia in to have her eyes dilated and examined. It has been a year since she first got glasses. Well the weakness in her left eye is still quite strong so she will be doing eye patch therapy 2-4 hrs. 4 days a week. While wearing the patch she needs to do close up activities.
