Wednesday, September 19, 2007. Yes, yes, yes! Coz I'll be returning to the workforce soon! That'll mean more spending power in future.hahaha. Guess I'm reverting to my old self - vainpot! Anyway, just received a call from the company that I wanted to join very much. The HR officer told me that they'll give me a reply by noon tomorrow. Really hope that I'll be accepted and join the company as the career advancement is definitely better than the other 2 offers that I have received. Army Open House, 3 Sept.

Monday, April 27, 2009. I'm finally baking after stopping for about 3 years. So Keyang bought a Philips stand mixer for me last week as he feels that it is too tiring for me to cream the batter manually. So sweet of him. Ok, here are the fruits of my labour. 3 trials and only 1 turned out to be successful. Looks nice but taste is too bland. Also very crumbly and really melts when put into the mouth. Going to spend the next few weeks perfecting my cookies, hopefully will succeed soon! Love is all around.

Wednesday, November 5, 2008. IVF Journey - Stage 2 and 3. After 1 week of Puregon injection, I was finally ready for the eggs retrieval surgery. Wednesday, August 27, 2008. WowI've disappeared for more than half a year? Can't believe that time passes so quickly. And what have I been doing all these while? Hmmnothing constructive at all. Secondly, I finally passed my driving test at my 4th attempt. Yippee. Recently I have read so many failed stories of IVF. What if I didn't grow any eggs? What if my eggs are all not good? Sunday, May 24, 2009. Lemon Cheesecake with Rum and Dark Chocolate. Decided to bake cheesecake instead of cookies last night. Still having headache on how to improve the cookies therefore decided to bake something simple so as to boost my confidence and morale :). Points to look out for next time:. 1) Batter proportion: More lemon batter as I like sour taste over rum. 2) Cream cheese: Go for more quality brand. Now I know the difference: Expensive = better quality. Love is all around.

Sunday, December 9, 2007. December- The month of JOY. All the friends around me love December. It's the last month of the year and also Christmas season. And this December is memorable to me coz 1 of my good friend, Serene, got married on 1 Dec 2007 and I was her entourage for the day. Haha.can you imagine an aunty who is married and have a 1.5yr old kid being a 'jiemei'? Anyway, I enjoyed the day, torturing the bridegroom and his entourage haha. Really angry with that, hopefully that phase will pass soon.
