Monday, April 13, 2015. Thompson visit - April 2015. Lee and Karen came down to visit during their spring break! They arrived the day before Easter, so it was nice to have family around for the celebration. We went to church in the morning and then to a friend's house for brunch, complete with a bit of swimming. It is Arizona, you know! Grammy, Rolin, Justin, Lee and Emmett. Only Rolin and Emmett's outfits were planned, the rest just happen to match beautifully! Daddy and his boys. And a garbage can.

Tuesday, March 10, 2015. We are glad January is over. Yes, I know February is over as well, but it was most of January that was no fun, and it took the last half of February for me to recover! That was a Friday, of course. At the doctor. He was "getting milk out.". He'll be angry about me posting this picture someday, I'm sure. It was chalked up to just being part of the virus. A mystery, in other words. I called Gigi on the way home, and she graciously came to my rescue. That's a mom's brain for you.

Monday, June 23, 2014. We made arrangements last summer to go to the beach as a family of three. It was to be a celebration of Rolin's first birthday (July 24th), as well as our fifth wedding anniversary (July 26th). Our new baby is due July 27th? Yes, I know. Maybe, just for fun, we'll aim to have a third due July 25th. Now that Si is getting from one place to another with slightly more agility, it seems like there are hazards and cords and sharp obstacles everywhere. A little scary to say goodbye to the ease of immobility, but we are so excited too! We have a crawler (almost, he still rolls to get most places quickly) and life as we knew it is over! Due to our own ignorance and lack of detail orientation we had a less-than-perfect start to our vacation. It was a comedy of errors really, the kind that you choose to laugh through gritted teeth so that you don't break down in tears! Here goes (I've numbered them so we don't lose count):.
