Dairy Queen Hacked – Payment Card Data Stolen. On Thursday, Dairy Queen announced that 395 out of about 4,500 stores had payment card data stolen. The published list of stores is here. Dairy Queen is blaming the use of the. Malware for the data breach. They say a “third-party vendor’s compromised account credentials.” allowed the access and that they breach has been “contained”. The company said that the time frame for the intrusion was between August and October of 2014 but varies at each location.
