Denny Lynn Turner: Yeah, Oklahoma!
http://dennylynnturner.blogspot.com/2009/12/yeah-oklahoma.html
Friday, December 4, 2009. Me and Mama and Daddy went to Oklahoma to visit and celebrate Thanksgiving. We did some shopping at my favorite store – Atwoods. I found this bone that I thought Oscar would like. I could barely hold it. Then I learned about the roping dummy you put on hay. Daddy calls this shot taking the bull by the horns. I even helped sort the horseshoes by size. I got to try out everything – the lawn tractors. Denny Lynn and John Lee. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am the King.

Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Father's Day Camping Trip. Once he heard that the temperatures in Las Cruces were supposed to reach 105 degrees, he decided he wanted us to head back to the mountains! The kids and I were very excited about his decision! It holds some wonderful memories and it will be bittersweet to get rid of it but we are excited to think about upgrading! Some snuggle time after breakfast that first morning:. We did learn one thing that morning - Sunny is a runner! That afternoon, I took my came...

Denny Lynn Turner: Braums and More Braums
http://dennylynnturner.blogspot.com/2009/12/braums-and-more-braums.html
Friday, December 4, 2009. Braums and More Braums. So Daddy loves Braums. We went every day (sometimes twice a day) while we were in Oklahoma. Sometimes I shared ice cream, but sometimes I got my very own. One word of warning – the junior cone is not so junior, but it was good. On the way home we stopped at the last Braums (in Amarillo, TX) and put 10 cartons of ice cream in the cooler to bring home for the holidays. Denny Lynn and John Lee. McVaugh Moments: March 2015
http://mcvaughmoments.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2015. A few weeks ago, while I was in Tucson for the weekend with my mom, Colin and the kids called and told me we had 4 new members of the family at the house! They had both signed up for the Rabbits project in 4-H, so I knew it was coming, but was still surprised it happened so soon! I also couldn't wait to get home and see them and hold them. They each picked out two. Colton chose a solid black one and a white one with black spots. The black one is named Scooter and he is pretty big!

Denny Lynn Turner: Thankful for Family
http://dennylynnturner.blogspot.com/2009/12/thankful-for-family.html
Friday, December 4, 2009. We stayed with Uncle Jeff as usual, but we got to visit lots of other family while we were in Oklahoma. We spent Thanksgiving at Papa and Nana’s with my cousins on Nana’s side. We played at Granny Nelly’s – that is where I got to play with Jasper - he even took me out to see the cows. And I played with the goats I got at Atwoods with Granny and Daddy. I am so glad everyone in Oklahoma loves me! I guess they will love Pumpkin, too. Denny Lynn and John Lee. I am the King.

Thursday, June 25, 2009. Happy Fathers’ Day 2009. We had a great Fathers’ Day in Carlsbad. Uncle Shawn came over to see us, too. Me and Daddy put our heads together over and ice cream cake. Then, I helped Grandpa and Daddy open their presents. I was mostly interested in the bubble wrap, but I think they both know I love them and hope they had a Happy Fathers’ Day! Denny Lynn and John Lee. Grandma had a new Mickey towel for our bath time – it is just my size! Denny Lynn and John Lee. At the 4-H BBQ I let ...

Denny Lynn Turner: Let It Snow, Let It Snow
http://dennylynnturner.blogspot.com/2009/12/let-it-snow-let-it-snow.html
Friday, December 4, 2009. Let It Snow, Let It Snow. We got snow in Las Cruces today! I had a little fever last night, so Mama kept me home. When we got up we had a great surprise. Daddy took me to the window to see a white blanket all over our back yard. He asked me what it was and I told him – MESS. That is what it looked like to me! Before Daddy left, he gave me a snowball, but it broke – then there really was a mess, but me and Mama cleaned it up – with some help from Oscar and Nolie. I am the King.

Thursday, November 19, 2009. Happy Birthday, Grandpa. Today is Grandpa's Birthday, but since we were there last weekend we celebrated early. He had asked for a Drywaller's Square - this was a cool present because it was big enough to measure me with! I hope Grandpa has a great birthday, even though I can't be there. Denny Lynn and John Lee. We did get to play with the cool bead table at the studio and after photos we had Chic-Fil-A. Denny Lynn and John Lee. Happy Anniversary Ma and Pa. Every year our chu...

Monday, July 21, 2014. Cady's Birthday Beach Party! Usually, I am the mom who has her kids' birthday parties planned out about 3 months in advance, or at least knows the theme and locale. Not so this year! Like I said on the invitations, "No Water, but Lots of Sand! The invitations were adapted from an idea I saw on Pinterest: baggies, fake sand and seashells from Hobby Lobby and a cardstock surfboard and bag topper. They came out pretty cute:. We loved how they turned out:. BFF Mckynze and Cady. The bir...
